Description
WINO cafe is a coffeehouse located in the neighborhood across the road from Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University. The cafe is actually owned by one of the professors at the university, and is frequented by many students. Being a coffeehouse, there is actually no wine served here (sorry to disappoint you!). But the coffee drinks are excellent, my favorite being the Caramel Macchiato. You'll also find a nice selection of tea drinks, flavored milk, and cocoa.
In addition to drinks, there is a small selection of cakes and desserts on offer, as well some lunch dishes, such as a Pork Chop Steak, Spaghetti Carbonara, Hawaiian Pizza, and the Thai favorite Pad Ka Prao with fried egg.
Prices for both drinks and food are affordable. When you order, you will be given an electric ticket, which will signal you when your order is ready. The atmosphere of coffeehouse is chic and relaxed, and includes an upstairs area, as well as a narrow outside courtyard.
If you are visiting the university, you can reach WINO cafe on foot by walking across the elevated bridge that crosses the highway, and following the directions on your smartphone by searching the coffeehouse on Google Maps.
