The following is a collection of original sayings and proverbs, written in Thai and English by an educator known as Ajarn Lungvid (อาจารย์ ลุงวิด), who has been residing in Thailand for over 20 years, lecturing at Thai universities and writing several books on how to learn Thai. These proverbs and sayings were inspired by the life lessons Ajarn Lungvid has gained by living in Thailand. In each of the entries, the Thai language version is written first, followed by a transliteration of the Thai script, a word for word English translation, and a figurative English translation.
