Phet Phloy Garden House Cafe is a charming cafe and coffeehouse near Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University. Situated on a lovely farm plot with vintage Thai style buildings and decor, this restaurant is one of our favorite places to while away the afternoon, sampling the delicious menu, and drinking coffee or beer.
In the Thai language, the name of this restaurant is Baan Suan Phet Phloy (บ้านสวนเพชรพลอย), which translates to Precious Stone Garden House. This cafe is indeed a precious jewel among Sakon Nakhon restaurants. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the owner is a talented cook, who not only creates delicious Thai dishes but serves them with a perfect presentation on the plate.
At Phet Phloy Garden House Cafe, you will find many of your favorite Thai dishes, including Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Pad Kaprao, Khao Man Gai, and more. In addition, there are different tasty fish dishes (try the Snakead!), as well as foreign entries like french fries and spaghetti carbonara.
The garden cafe's prices for everything from food to coffee drinks and desserts are very reasonable, considering the quality, presentation, and delightful garden atmosphere — which remains quite cool, even on hot days. You can relax and enjoy your order inside the main house, at outside tables, or on one of the small private pavilions located at the edge of a small pond.
