Description
Tree House is a new coffeehouse and restaurant, located in a rural setting, amidst rice fields and farmlands. If you start at the Sakon Nakhon City Gate and travel towards Udon Thani, it'll take you about 20 minutes to arrive. Like many establishments of this type, you'll find the coffeehouse designed with areas to take attractive photos to post on social media. There is a Marilyn Monroe wall, hay bales, swinging chair, tall cacti, fabric overhangs, and more.
In addition to coffee drinks, Tree House offers a variety of Italian soda, dark cocoa, green tea, and orange ice balls, as well as several different types of Thai beer. A delicious variety of cakes are available, including some not found at other local bakeries. The lunch/dinner dishes are inexpensive and include typical Thai dishes like Som Tam Thai/Lao, Pad Kee Mao (with spaghetti or rice), Yam Talay (seafood salad), Pad Krapao, and an Isaan hot pot where you boil meat, seafood, lettuce, noodles, and egg in a pot.
The staff is friendly, and they are open 7 days a week, often staying open late. There is both indoor (air-conditioned) and outdoor seating. We encourage you to check them out, especially if you are already in the area visiting Wat Sapansri, which is only 7km away.
